The Service

Forever Remembered provides a mail-in media digitization service. Customers ship physical media (VHS tapes, DVDs) to us, and we convert that media to digital files (MP4 format). Originals are returned after digitization.

Inquiries, Quotes, and Fees

Submitting an inquiry through this website does not constitute an order or create a contract. We will follow up to discuss details, confirm pricing, and provide shipping instructions before any work begins. No payment is required or collected through this website.

Electronic MP4 delivery is included in the quoted VHS or DVD digitization price. An optional USB flash drive is $20 extra. Return shipping is charged separately. Other than the quoted digitization price, the optional USB charge, and return shipping, we do not add other service fees.

Your Media

You represent that you own the media you submit or have the right to have it digitized. We do not accept media containing content that infringes third-party copyrights or content that is illegal.

We handle your physical media with care, but we cannot guarantee recovery of content from damaged, degraded, or deteriorated tapes and discs. We do not perform tape or disc repair work. Media is digitized in the condition in which it arrives, and we will notify you if its condition materially limits what can be captured.

Shipping and Transit Risk

You are responsible for packing your media securely and choosing an appropriate shipping service when sending media to us. We strongly recommend tracked shipping and any carrier protection you consider appropriate for irreplaceable media.

Risk of loss or physical damage while media is in a shipping carrier's custody remains with the customer, including the inbound shipment to Forever Remembered and the return shipment after the package is handed to the carrier. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Forever Remembered is not responsible for loss or damage that occurs during carrier transit.

Return shipping is charged separately and will be confirmed with the project details. Return shipments are sent with tracking.

Digital Files

Digital files are delivered as MP4 files either electronically or on a USB flash drive, as agreed. You are responsible for backing up your digital files once received. We do not retain copies of your content after delivery.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Forever Remembered's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for loss of data, sentimental value, or consequential damages. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The most current version will always be available at this URL.
